Encouraging fellow Christians to be:
Growing in their love for God.
“Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind and with all your strength.” (Mark 12: 30)
Knowing our Heavenly Father’s love for them.
“And I pray that you too, being rooted and established in love, may have the power, together with all the saints, to grasp how wide and long and high and deep is the love of Christ, and to know this love that surpasses knowledge – that you may be filled to the measure of all the fullness of God.” (Ephesians 3: 17-19)
Abiding in Christ.
“I am the vine, you are the branches. If a man remains in me and I in him, he will bear much fruit – apart from me you can do nothing.” ( John 15: 5)
Walking with Jesus and keeping in step with the Spirit.
“So I say, live by the Spirit, and you will not gratify the desires of the sinful nature…Since we live by the Spirit, let us keep in step with the Spirit.” (Galatians 5: 16, 25)
Our aim is to provide an unhurried space for Christians to rest in God’s presence and experience times of refreshing and spiritual renewal. Retreats will include time set aside for personal meditation on God’s word the Bible, reflection on a variety of Christian writings, prayer, opportunities to share with others as well as informal chapel gatherings and times of worship.
