History

Our farm is called Retreat, and the original homestead that is currently used for ministry purposes is called the Retreat Homestead. The property was named over 100 years ago by Richard’s great-grandparents, most likely in response to its secluded and peaceful location (we are not aware of any spiritual heritage)!

But God had His plans and we feel that He actually named and set apart this place for its real purpose way back in the 1890’s!!

Our prayer is that Retreat will more and more live up to its name as God uses it to bless many of His children with times of rest, spiritual restoration and refreshment.
